This initiative, hosted by the Dane County Board of Supervisors and supported through a grant from the MacArthur Safety and Justice Challenge, uses Sequential Intercept Mapping to identify opportunities to improve behavioral health and criminal justice systems.

Community Justice Centers: Community Conversation
The CJC hosted national experts on community justice centers, with the intention of moving towards implementing a community justice center in Dane County. Judge Calabrese from Red Hook Community Justice Center in New York and Brett Taylor from the Center for Court Innovation spoke about restorative justice and their roles in the program's creation, development, and evaluation. Dr. Alex Gee, Jr., founder of Nehemiah Center for Urban Leadership Development, Rep. Shelia Stubbs, Wisconsin State Representative and Dane County Supervisor, and Ismael Ozanne, Dane County District Attorney, spoke about the local potential for a community justice center.
